SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management/Director of Admissions, assisting with all aspects of the admissions and recruitment process with primary responsibilities in the operations of the admission office and the coordination of recruitment events and visits. This individual also acts as a liaison between the college and prospective students and parents; reviews prospective student applications; coordinates admissions programs and receptions; and may hold a recruiting responsibility for an assigned territory.
The Assistant/Associate Director supports undergraduate and graduate recruitment efforts by assisting the AVPEM/Director of Admissions in the functional development and maintenance of the division’s CRM solution, Technolutions Slate. The Assistant/Associate Director will have a strong interest in working with data systems, and will possess a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and be comfortable taking initiative in approaching work in a fast-paced department. The Assistant/Associate Director also coordinates the recruitment events and visit programs to Olivet College.
Major responsibilities include overseeing internal application review processes, communication flow management, managing strategic initiatives, assisting in the development/revision of policies and procedures, assisting in the planning and implementation of staff development, coordinates and maintains events and planning for recruitment programs on campus, and other duties as assigned. This position serves as an integral team leader in collaborating with other areas of enrollment management and throughout the institution.

Light physical exertion. Normally seated, standing, or walking at will. Periodic handling of lightweight parcels or supplies. Use of handcart for transporting admissions materials.
