MEDICAL ASSISTANT
We are looking to hire a proactive Medical Assistant to fill a position at a busy pain management clinic. This facility combines a multidisciplinary approach in the management of pain for our patients through interventional procedures, performed on site, and through closely monitored medication therapy.

Patient confidentiality is of the utmost importance.

· Enter labs as required for urine drug screens.
· Send referrals for physical therapy and for any radiology testing and follow up with results when completed.

Experience:
· Must have ability to work independently with attention to detail.
· The ability to multitask and prioritize their workload.
· Have strong organizational skills and keep a clean workspace.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Two or more years experience in various surgical procedure prior authorizations (preferred).
Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of 1-2 years experience preferred.
