Part of a team responsible for oversight of all US benefit programs, with primary and secondary responsibilities that may shift to support cross-training and provide professional development opportunities. Success in this role requires an attention to detail, simplifying administrative processes and improving the founder experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Benefits Operations:
Primarily responsible for administration and oversight of specific benefit programs, which could include health, leave and financial-focused programs.
Balance business as usual work with managing and supporting new project work.
Proactively identify opportunities to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement process improvements related to benefits administration.
Initially support and ultimately lead the annual benefits enrollment processes (e.g., annual enrollment, NQDC election period) including project management, testing and employee communications.
Support timely and accurate resolution to escalations raised through multiple channels, including participants and vendors.
Partner with other team members in Payroll, Accounting, Legal, and the HRBP community to accomplish day-to-day activities.
Interacts with C&B counterparts, finance, procurement, corporate communications, legal, DEI, etc. to support implementation and ongoing governance of all programs.
Compliance:
Support U.S. compliance activities to ensure our benefit plans operate compliantly with applicable ERISA, IRS and DOL regulations, and consistent with plan documents and business requirements.
Support internal and external audits across H&W and retirement plans and systems.
Support data gathering and reporting for public disclosures, specifically the annual proxy statement.
Provide support to HR Service Delivery team for the administration of leaves of absence, compliant with federal, state, and local laws and Organon policy.
Strategy:
Assist with the selection and ongoing vendor management of certain company consultants and third-party vendors. Supports RFPs.
Provide input and recommendations regarding employee communications, education materials and maintenance of internal benefits resources.
Support the Business:
Support DEI and ESG reporting needs.
Serve as the team’s liaison with at least one internal partner.
Support additional projects, as needed.
Education Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in benefits administration.
Broad knowledge of US benefits including health & welfare, leave administration, and retirement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of regulatory guidelines (i.e., ERISA, ACA, FMLA).
Maintains a high level of professionalism and confidentiality around sensitive data.

Benefits offered in the U.S. include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation and holiday time, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
