Performs a variety of tasks associated with receipting and accounting for monies, checks, and other cash instruments in payment for Town services. Work includes entering data into an automated cash register, balancing monies at the end of the day, and accounting for all daily work and activities. Work requires interaction with customers and often explaining policies and procedures to them regarding payments. Work requires cashiering and computer skills and requires concentration in tasks assigned. Also, other related assignments as directed by the Collections Supervisor or Finance Director. Position expects approximately 18-25 hours per week, generally between the hours of 9am – 3pm, Monday – Friday.
Bilingual in Spanish is required.
