Front End Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

· Work collaboratively with our cross functional teams, following best practices for front end development within company’s Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C solutions

· Implement modern, scalable, and performant software.

· Raise risks and alert team leads of blockers or issues.

· Collaborate with teammates to help unblock them and/or grow their knowledge and skills.

· Assist with preparation of client facing technical communication and documentation.

· Pointing/Estimating of tasks and stories.

· Continuous learning of industry changes and latest methodology within the commerce industry and front end development discipline, particularly with regard to headless architectures.

Basic Qualifications

· 4+ years of front-end software development experience

· 2+ experience in commerce front-end development, ideally headless with SPA and/or PWA architectures.

· Solid experience and knowledge with:

o Isomorphic Javascript (React)

o SASS & CSS

o OAuth client authentication

o REST API integration

o Webpack

o Unit and Integration Testing (In Javascript)

o Gitflow

· Strong communication skills

· Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

· 1+ years in client facing role – internal or external

· Familiarity with ExpressJS & Chakra UI

· Strong integration and architectural knowledge of SFCC or other major Commerce Applications.

· Payment gateway integration (front end/headless)

· Understanding of PCI Compliance

· Working knowledge of server infrastructure as applied to Salesforce Commerce B2C builds and Backend for Frontend type architecture patterns

· Strong understanding of software Design Patterns

· Good team player who can work with people of all levels / backgrounds

· Exposure to:

o Static site generators,

o Frameworks like NextJS, Gatsby, NUXT

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
