HR Assistant Job Details:
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $27/hr – $29/hr
Location: Denver, PA – In person
Contract to Hire
Job Description & Responsibilities for HR Assistant:
Familiarity with federal mandates such as FMLA, COBRA, FLSA, etc.
Maintain HRIS database
Experienced recruiter for high quality hiring
High attention to detail in file maintenance
Well versed in social media and other posting sites
Excellent communication skills verbal and written
Scheduling
Handling all training, onboarding, and documentation for new hires
Building of strong connections through networking
Team work oriented, but must be able to work independently
Background and reference checking
Comfortable making cold calls
Understanding of federal law and state regulations
Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite programs
Strong problem solving skills
Work in quiet environments
Must be capable to calculate figures into commissions and percentages
Excellent time management skills
Job Requirements for HR Assistant:
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
Must have recruiter experience
Experience handling Payroll and employee benefit plans
Ability to lift and move 10lbs
Additional Details:
High attention to detail
Strong verbal and written skills
Ability to work independently but also collaboratively with others
Understanding of Payroll software, databases, internet software, and Microsoft applications
