HR Generalist

Performance Powersports Group is looking for an HR Leader at our brand-new facility in Mesquite, TX.

We are actively looking for a positive, inquisitive HR Generalist, who loves streamlining processes and problem solving. Someone who will ensure that HR operates efficiently and smoothly.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and have experience in handling a wide variety of human resources tasks to assist leadership run the growing business.

This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, have excellent attention to detail, be able to work independently with little or no supervision at times, and who enjoys the challenges of supporting a company and employees in a variety of roles.

This position will report to the Chief Finance Officer and the on-site Operations Manager and will provide support for the owners of the company, CEO, COO, Managers, Supervisors, and front line staff.

Duties, Key Competencies & Skills – include but are not limited to the following:

• Manages the new hire, onboarding process, prepares new hire packets and assist in hires with completion of forms (I-9, tax withholding and confidentiality agreements). Establish and maintain employee records.
• Assist with managing HR for the office, developing and maintaining office and company policies, updating company handbooks, employee files, payroll, operations, corrective action, recruiting, onboarding, orientation and training and other procedures, as necessary.
• Manages the Benefit program administrative tasks including open enrollment, new hire enrollment, resolution of employee concerns and questions.
• Handle internal inquiries, employee relations, and workers compensation claims.
• Develops and streamlines company policies and procedures, and ensures they are implemented appropriately after approval, and making sure all related files are complete and organized.
• Ensure top Human Resources performance of company managers and staff by providing coaching, training, and guidance.
• Manage internal staff relations and maintain a positive working environment while following company core values.
• Maintain and update all office and company insurance policies related to benefits.
• Process and approve operations and office payroll in conjunction with the Corporate Controller.
• Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the company in any department, as needed.
• Excellent management of HRIS system and benefit portal.

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field required.
• Previous Human Resources experience (bonus if supported a Texas based company), Payroll and Worker’s Compensation
• Labor relations management experience.
• Ability to show thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations through questions, discussions and completed tasks.
• Risk Management.
• Data Literacy.
• Very strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Takes ownership of job responsibilities with personal pride and accountability.
• Hardworking and love what you do.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information.
• Excellent ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem solve.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
• Exhibit extraordinary discretion, confidentiality, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with all levels of our team.
• Efficient in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong professionalism, organizational and planning skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification PHR, SPHR, SHRM, CP etc.

Full-time/ Mon-Fri 8:00 am- 4:30 pm

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
