The Recruitment Coordinator assists the Director of Human Resourcesin day to day operations of the department and is responsible for various humanresources functions relating to recruitment and retention of staff, including assistingwith finding, sourcing, attracting and hiring talent that satisfies organizationalneeds. Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications oreligibility of applicants and refer appropriate candidate applications tohiring supervisors. Coordinate effectivejob postings, listings and ads. Facilitateand attend job fairs. Coordinate the new hire process between supervisors andcandidates, including collecting pre-employment paperwork, drug screen info andbackground checks. Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate a smooth newhire orientation and onboarding. Providecontinued engagement with staff. Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants,employees and supervisors. Remain knowledgeable about the Employee Handbook,agency and open positions. Maintain andupdate records to document personnel actions and changes to employeestatus. Maintains compliance with federal, state, andlocal employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviewspolicies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends,best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources,talent management and employment law.
Education Required: High School Diploma or GED. Bachelors degree in human resources, business orrelated field preferred. SHRM or HRCI certification or ability to becomecertified preferred.
Experience Required: At least 1 year of human resources, management,legal or business experience.
Position Requirements: Valid Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance, and insurable through PermiaCare. Required to pass criminal history and background checks as well as pre-employment drug screen.
Full Time/Part Time: Full-time position
Salary: $15.66 per hour. $22.69 per hour with relevant Bachelor’s degree. Sign on bonus may be available.
