The Head of Learning & Development will act as a consultant, builder, owner, and leader of our learning strategy at Pinterest. Where better to “create a career you love” than the company built to help Pinners “create a life they love”. You will report to the Head of Talent Enablement. This organization focuses on the employee journey from acquisition through onboarding and assimilation. It includes Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Global Mobility, Contingent Workforce Management, and People Insights & Analytics.

What you’ll do:
Lead the Learning & Development functions at a global level
Build and implement a strategy to create programs that support development of employees at key moments of their career journey
Partner closely with the People Leadership Team and business leaders to diagnose development needs and create Learning and Development solutions to address them
Translate broad, longer term vision and objectives into specific milestones and goals to deliver key talent initiatives for the business.
Build a culture of continuous learning and influence a growth mindset in Pinployees
Ensure Inclusion & Diversity is woven into every aspect of our learning and development curriculum and Pinployee journey
Offer hands-on coaching and guidance to leaders as a recognized Learning and Development subject matter expert
Manage relationships with third party-resources, vendors, and partners to roll out innovative learning models
Identify new tools to enhance capabilities across the organization
What we’re looking for:
Experience working in a fast-paced growth environment
Extensive experience leading a Learning & Development function
Experience building and scaling Learning & Development programs and creating a learning culture at a company
Knowledgeable of Inclusion & Diversity practices and experience building them into learning solutions
Ability to act as a strategic partner who can understand the business strategy and connect it to a talent strategy and future talent needs of the organization
Ability to operationalize strategies and effectively execute them
Meaningful problem-solving skills with strategic knowledge about next generation talent tools required
Expertise in leading and developing a team of direct reports and creating a positive team working environment
Ability to effectively drive change management and communication strategies to various audiences for new programs and changes at all levels of the organization
This role can be remote or hybrid anywhere in the United States with up to 25% travel, as needed
US Applicants:
The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $155,300 to $258,700 in the US;
