Job Summary
Responsibilities are assisting the Human Resources Business Partner with various administrative tasks as required by policy or procedure, in addition to recruiting, interviewing and following through with the hiring process.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
Full Cycle Recruitment – All hourly roles
Reviewing applications and resumes
Interviewing candidates
Making offers
Posting for open positions
OnBoarding Process to include: plant tours, company overview, policies, procedures, etc.
OnBoarding of temporary employees (ensure proper training is completed, update matrix)
Employee Relations
Address HRIS and benefit related questions as well as any other employee issues/concerns
Paper work
Process all new employee forms
Miscellaneous reporting – Unemployment, child support, garnishments, etc.
Mortgage verifications
Employment verifications
Maintain Employee Discipline/Training files in KRONOS
Reporting
Daily Labor Report for all divisions
Maintain Recruitment Log
Maintain Staffing Report
HRIS reports when necessary
Anniversary/Birthday Reports – Monthly
Work directly with temporary service to place orders/cancel temporary employees
Review Reports emailed monthly
Past due/upcoming trainings report – monthly
Employee Engagement/Misc.
Support HRBP & EEC Leader with EEC initiatives
Provide training on HRIS for new hires
Maintain company sponsored uniform program
Oversee SMART Card program
Assist HRBP with trainings (schedule sessions, prepare training materials).
Participate in Safety Committee, optional
Assist with facilitating training sessions
Employee engagement and culture committee
Education & Personal Attributes
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
1 year of office experience
Must be friendly, approachable and lead by example
Time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
