PLANNER II
Salary Range: $64,957 to $90,940 Yearly
The Planner II position will perform a wide variety of duties to assist the Community Development Director in the following general capacities:
• Provide information and assistance to citizens, developers, and contractors regarding development codes, entitlement processes, procedures, permit requirements, and information.
•Coordinating and participating in the review of land-use applications.
•Assisting with the research and development of short- and long-term strategies and policies to help ensure that the Town of Lochbuie grows intelligently and sustainably.
•Providing staff support to boards, committees, and commissions as needed.

Working environment/physical activities:
Work is generally performed in an office environment and may require remaining in a sitting position at an office desk for extended periods of time, standing in front of both large and small groups of people for extended periods of time to facilitate meetings, attending City Council, Planning Commission, and other public meetings that often do not end until late in the evening, and meeting at various locations other than City offices. Medical:
Town of Lochbuie provides four medical plan options plus a supplemental medical plan, paid by Employee & Employer, to regular-hour employees (employees who work at least 30 hours per week). All four medical plans are offered by Kaiser Permanente which include pharmacy benefits.
Dental:
Dental insurance is available to full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week through Delta Dental.
Vision:
Vision insurance is available to full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week through Mutual of Omaha.
Paid Time Off (PTO): Per pay period accrual (26 pay periods) for full-time employees.
0-1 year of service: 5.23 hours
2-4 years of service: 6.77 hours
5-9 years of service: 8.30 hours
10-14 years of service: 9.8
15+ years of service: 11.35 hours
