The current vacancy is with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney. This position independently performs professional, administrative, fiscal, and analytical work in the application, monitoring, evaluating, and administering federal, state, local, and private grants for the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney. This position also assists with the requisition, administration, and monitoring of general funded contracts. The position applies a thorough knowledge of federal and state application processes for criminal justice grants, criminal justice programs including victim/witness programs, Victim of Crimes Act (VOCA) grants; ability to interpret grant requirements, monitor for performance and compliance, conduct research in the area of criminal justice grants and programs, organize the work of multiple assignments to comply with strict deadlines, work effectively with others, identify problems or potential problems; and skills in the competent use of personal computers, related software applications and systems, coordination of assignments, effective communication, and time management.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in city planning, sociology, business or public administration or a related field. Work experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis. Such experience must have provided the knowledge, skills, and analytical ability normally gained from attainment of a bachelor’s degree.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
One year of research or analytical experience in social, economic or community development programs. Such experience must have demonstrated knowledge of research methods and statistical procedures; standard sources and uses of socio-economic information; socio-economic problems and conditions; basic objectives and principles of community planning; and the ability to conduct research and statistical studies; collect, classify and analyze statistical data; prepare tables, charts and graphs; and prepare clear and concise reports.
LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
Possession of a valid appropriate driver’s license (Type 3/automobile), as required.
