As a Plastipak Recruiter, you are a brand ambassador, engaging with talent pools and community partners to promote opportunities and core values of Plastipak Packaging. Leveraging your expertise as a Recruiter in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, you generate a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates and facilitate a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.

You Will
Utilize professional networking, social media, community outreach, creative thinking and other methods to proactively source qualified candidates
Screen candidates to determine suitability for position and communicate recommendations to the Hiring Managers
Manage candidate experience during the recruitment process, responding promptly to candidate inquiries, managing candidate expectations and notifying all applicants when the requisition is filled
Provides status updates, reporting, and other information as needed to co-workers, Supervisors, and Hiring Managers
Partner with local communities to promote and grow the Plastipak brand
Coordinate the pre-hire and on-boarding process i.e. completing positions request, setting up background checks, preparing offer letters, and communicating with HR Corporate on new hire for onboarding
Collaborates to evaluate and improve recruiting procedures
Gain a firm understanding of Plastipak’s culture to align activities and interactions with the Core Values
Contribute to other human resource and employee engagement activities
You Have
Bachelor’s degree or related experience
A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing industry recruiting experience in high-growth organization
Excellent track record of sourcing and qualifying candidates for a variety of positions
Enthusiasm for conducting outreach and building mutually beneficial partnerships
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with a strong preference for Workday
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for interactions with candidates, vendors and individuals at all levels of the organization
Exemplary ethics and integrity to maintain confidential information
Attributes for success, including a high sense of urgency, customer-service orientation, and a team player mentality
