City Park Gelato and aMore is looking for full- and part-time line and prep cooks to join our team! We’re located in the heart of Fort Collins at 1720 W Mulberry St. We’re looking for experienced, passionate cooks! We offer many opportunities for advancement within the company. Wage & Hours:

Starting at $15/hr *negotiable*

AM Shift: 8AM – First out

PM Shift: 12PM – Close

We’re looking for full- and part-time cooks. You will be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis. This is a year-round position!

Qualifications/Skills:

• Able to lift & carry 50+ lbs

• Good stamina, stays positive under pressure

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Organizational skills

• Accuracy and speed when executing tasks

• Able to work as a team member

• Follows directions and instructions well

• Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and meet those needs

• Maintains good personal hygiene

• Strong attention to detail

• Aptitude for multi-tasking

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 4+ years cooking experience or BOH experience preferred

• In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods

• ServSafe Certification is preferred

Responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining cleanliness and compiling with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage

• Setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies

• Preparing food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces

• Cooking food items by baking, frying, sauteing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards

• Getting food out quickly, efficiently, and correctly

• Cleaning and sanitizing cooking and preparation surfaces at the end of the shift

• Performing inventory checks and completing food storage logs

• Using Clover POS system
