Here at PosiGen, we are seeking a motivated and experienced candidate to fill the role of HR Generalist in our New Orleans, LA office! The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with VP of HR Operations and our current HR Generalist. You will also work closely with senior-level management in a supporting role for all designated geographic regions. You will be part of the core HR team and will be responsible for the following:

Essential Job Functions

• Provide HR support to the HR Team, all levels of managers, and employees
• Support a positive, employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance and employee engagement
• Conduct new-hire orientations, benefits management, compliance training for managers and employees
• Support all site HR needs in partnership with HR Business Partners and Sr. HR Leadership
• Partner with other HR specialty functions (compensation, payroll, recruitment, training & development) acting as a point of contact and liaison with clients to deliver full HR services in absence of Sr. HR Leadership
• Assist HR Leadership with providing clarification and assistance to employees regarding Company policies and procedures
• Facilitate the leave management process for employees and coordinates with the benefit and safety points of contact to ensure a positive employee experience
• Process all internal transfers/employee status changes forms including promotions and demotions
• Coordinate and assist with employee engagement events as needed
• Content creation and distribution of weekly HR Newsletter in the absence of an Internal Communications Manager
• HRIS ADMINISTRATION

• Prepare reports from the HRIS involving payroll information, demographic data and other employee data as needed
• Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data and reviewing source documents for accuracy and completion of data input
• Recommend business process improvements having an HRIS component

Education/Experience

• BA/BS Degree in Human Resources, Business or Organizational Development or demonstrated experience in a similar business environment preferred
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources with consistent career progression
• Excellent ability to generate HR metrics and analyze data
• Extensive knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace preferred
