Schedules consent/screening appointments for those subjects/patients who pass preliminary phone screening interview. The Phone Recruiter utilizes excellent customer service skills (professionalism, tact, courtesy and patience) in order to provide a pleasant experience to callers and to encourage their participation in current and future studies.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 6 months to 1 year of direct customer service experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requires patience and the ability to put the patient/subject’s concerns first by friendly and courteous phone screening
Requires the ability to spend the majority of the work day on the phone, speaking with a variety of patients/subjects while remaining courteous and friendly
Requires excellent phone skills, communication skills
Must be able to type information into computerized screening form while speaking with patients/subjects on the telephone
Physical Demands:
Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Ability to make precise coordinated movements, of the fingers to grasp and manipulate objects. Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf. Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. May interact with others, relating and gathering sensitive information. Interaction includes diverse groups.Works with guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions from management. May require periods of intense concentration.Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. Ability to perform under stress. Ability to multi-task.
