Salary Grade: O – $105,000 – 173,734

About the Position
The Project Manager III will be responsible for leading the facilitation, design, and implementation oversight for all aspects of medium to large-scale projects and/or programs including but not limited to the scope, schedule, resources, costs, quality, and change with minimal supervision. The incumbent will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex and multifaceted projects running simultaneously that involve a high level of coordination with key business partners across the organization, as well as external stakeholders and third parties/vendors. Additionally, the incumbent will operate in a lead capacity to provide training, coaching, mentoring, and support to other Project Managers, Program Managers in the Behavioral Health Integration department (BHI).
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Participates in a mission-driven culture of high-quality performance, with a member focus on customer service, consistency, dignity and accountability.
• Assists the team in carrying out department responsibilities and collaborates with others to support short- and long-term goals/priorities for the department.
• Designs and establishes the framework for all aspects of medium to large projects/programs including policies and procedures.
• Creates project charters and detailed project plans that include scope, objectives, resources, costs, risks, and relevant stakeholders.
• Full oversight and management of both the technical and business integration components of projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Understanding of regulatory guidance where applicable to ensure technical and business feasibility aligns with compliance.
• Facilitates collaboration between business partners or subject-matter experts with Information Technology Services (ITS) on projects that involve system impacts.
• Ensures that projects are delivered with quality, agreed upon timelines, and minimal disruptions due to issues or risks.
• Manages multiple major projects simultaneously.
• Manages changes to project scope impacting schedule and costs using appropriate negotiation skills and escalation when necessary.
• Provides oversight and support to ensure effective communication, development, and implementation of projects, programs, and new initiatives in a cross-functional capacity.
• Coordinates hands-on systems testing may be required where applicable.
• Develops relationships with all stakeholders and coordinates to ensure collaboration on the project/program.
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation such as project plans, status reports, risk/action/issues/decision logs and provides timely responses to project inquiries.
• Provides training, mentorship and coaching to other members of the BHI team.
• Completes other projects and duties as assigned.
Experience & Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 5 years of experience managing complex, multifaceted projects or programs that involve both technical and business integration coordination required.
• Experience successfully managing and completing projects required.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position such as those listed above is also qualifying.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• 3 years of experience working with health care delivery systems and/or in public agency serving related population.

• Physical demands: While performing duties of job, employee may be required to move about the organization. Employee must be able to sit for extended periods of time, as well as work at the computer for long periods. Employee is required to use hands and fingers, especially for typing on the computer and using the mouse. Must also be able to reach with hands and arms and must occasionally lift office supply boxes or laptop case, up to 25 pounds. Employee must be able to communicate, particularly for regular phone use, in meetings, face-to-face interaction and while presenting.
• Work Environment: Typical office environment with minimal noise levels and controlled office temperatures.
