The Sr. Recruiter will be responsible for setting an example of “excellence” to all Recruiters, directing them in daily activities, counseling and managing their performance. This position must also perform all the duties of a Recruiter and provide back-up whenever needed. The primary goal of this position is to ensure that all Recruiters are providing complete and timely placement of highly capable temporary employees in open jobs at client sites as requested. They will also support the Branch Manager/RVP on the day to day operation of the business and ensure that the Branch is as efficient as possible, that all employees are aware of their responsibilities, that their performance meets expectations, the Branch is compliant with all Unemployment and Workers Compensation requirements and that the clients are satisfied with our service. May be responsible for profit/loss of that particular Branch.
Responsibilities
Manages staff of Recruiters and On-Site Supervisors/Managers including recruiting, training, and development of new and existing staff.
Maintains work shift scheduling; reviews and approves hours worked by subordinates.
Assist in the orientation of new employees.
Ensures 100% accuracy of all applicant documentation.
Ensures that good screening & skill evaluation is being done by Recruiters to guarantee the highest fill rates and the most qualified candidates.
Responsible for ensuring timely responses to all client job requests.
Ensures that successful compliance testing is being done if needed and that verification of certification is being done as needed.
Ensures that pre-employment tests and reference checks are being done appropriately.
Ensures that new employee orientation, training and testing are being conducted appropriately.
Ensures that service coordinators are effectively communicating to temporary employees the skills required and expectations of jobs to which they are dispatched.
Ensures accuracy and completeness of job information recorded by Service Coordinators on Work Orders and also recorded in Avionte system.
Manages and continually assesses employee information available in the system to ensure accuracy and timeliness of updates.
Ensures that effective communications and business relationships are maintained with all clients.
Ensures that all new applicants are processed efficiently and courteously and that an effective traffic pattern is maintained in the branch lobby.
Ensures that all client problems and issues are handled/resolved effectively and quickly.
Appropriately advises and/or escalates client problems and incidents to Branch Manager/RVP.
Assists with the development and execution of recruiting plans to ensure order fulfillment while assisting with recruiting for all open orders and partnering with local recruiting sources.
Oversees payroll processing to ensure that timely and accurate information is maintained in the system and provided to corporate payroll processors.
Monitors and controls office expenses within budget guidelines.
May assist Sales Executive with acquisition of new customers.
Provides client-specific reports and other reports as needed.
Responsible for meeting Paramount goals on payroll/billing errors and branch assessments.
Assist to facilitate/coordinate the weekly branch meeting.
Works with National Unemployment Coordinator to monitor unemployment claims; may attend hearings by phone or in person.
Ensuring branch compliance with Paramount s Health and Safety Program through developing and implementing plans and goals to minimize injuries and WC costs.

Primarily works in an office environment. Will be required to work at both a traditional office desk as well as at the applicant s window.
Must be able to travel to various facilities in the branch territory and to move within each facility (sometimes long distances) to work with employees and communicate with customer representatives.
May involve some lifting of files and boxes. May involve bending or standing to file documents.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required
AA or BA in Business Administration or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 4 to 5 years experience in a recruiting role preferably in staffing or other customer service role.
Experience working with time keeping systems and various business reports.
Experience working with a high level of independence.
Demonstrated experience in managing competing demands.
Experience managing a team of Recruiters and On-Site Supervisors preferred.
Background in Human Resources a plus.
