Job Title: C++ Developer in Linux/Windows Environment
Location: Tewksbury, MA 01876
Duration: 6 months Contract to full time hire
The problem statement: Existing homemade windows driver written on WindowsXP OS needs to be ported on Windows10 OS.
Migrating to Windows10 due to end of life issues. A contract that has to be delivered to a customer, hard press on getting someone started ASAP but it is very specialized work and candidate must possess the Must-Have hard sKill.
XRay imaging- have existing machine on site that will be upgraded to Windows10 by updating the driver. This needs to be fixed/upgraded before they can move on to bring all the pieces together.
If candidate has just WindowsXP and Windows10 experience and not Linux, it will suffice. Needs Windows with C++ experience.
Proficient in developing software application using C++ and QT framework under Linux OS. Exposure to GUI development in desktop/enterprise environment.
Preferred hands on experience in database query.
Ability to understand and enhance a large legacy code base with minimum support from team members.

Pay: $60.00 – $90.00 per hour
