Senior Private Equity Portfolio Accountant (Hybrid)
Our client is looking for a Senior Private Equity Portfolio Accountant to join the accounting and finance team, reporting to the Fund Controller.
What To Know:
- $105k annual base pay + 15-20% bonus
- Hybrid Work Schedule
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with tax-basis accounting standards and firm accounting policies and procedures
- Developing and maintaining relationships with investment partners using accounting expertise to effectively review monthly property-level accounting and reporting
- Preparing acquisition/disposition closing statements and reviewing related tax basis journal entries
- Reviewing various legal documents associated with the assigned portfolio of assets to take action or track items that may be required under each
Requirements and Skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3 years of real estate experience as a property accountant
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Experience with Yardi is preferred
