Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for working closely with the Human Resources (HR) team and field leadership in the development and execution of our recruiting plans to support the primary clients which include sales and technician positions across all regions and may include corporate recruiting as needed. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is required to source, interview and assists in hiring decisions and on-boarding of new team members in assigned positions.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Source candidates from all available tools as well as research and recommend additional sourcing vehicles that will contribute to greater candidate generation
· Review pipeline candidates and assess qualifications based on knowledge of the positions and conduct technical and behavioral interviews
· Update career sites, job boards, intranet and social media outlets with latest position offerings
· Maintain a positive candidate experience by continuing communication with the candidate throughout the application and onboarding process
· Complete administrative tasks supporting the recruitment process; such as, scheduling interviews with direct hiring manager, managing the job requisition approval process, updating applicant tracking system, entering candidate information into background verification sites, and processing new hire paperwork
· Perform analysis on hiring trends, position wages, diversity, and other applicable recruiting areas
· Provide regular status updates to management and assist in developing sourcing and recruiting strategies for each branch location
· Work actively on projects to improve the recruiting and selection processes as well as other projects aimed at improving general HR processes
· Respond to inquiries from candidates, team members, and business unit managers
· Create and manage relationships with local career and job placement programs, technical or trade schools, and other organizations to find the best available talent
· Maintain needed reporting and provide recommendations based on identified trends in order to improve processes, reduce time to hire and increase candidate engagement and satisfaction through the recruiting process
· Additional projects as assigned
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Required:
· 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience
· Experience with Microsoft Office products and applicant tracking systems
· Exceptional written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
· Must be able to pass company background check
· Must be able to pass substance abuse testing
