PWCC Marketplace LLC Hiring for Office/HR Assistant at Portland, OR Full Time

PWCC’s continued growth has brought us a unique opportunity to join our team as our HR Assistant. This role will be vital to our continued growth as it will support our expanding Infrastructure Team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Infrastructure Operations, the* Human Resources Assistant* is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level. They will work closely with other members of the HR department to assist with day-to-day operations and provide outstanding support with office management and administrative tasks.
Position Responsibilities:

• Maintains calendar up to date with reoccurring tasks and events
• Manages and tracks different company programs such as Carpool & Wellness programs
• Serves as the point of contact for new hires and other visitors in the office
• Coordinates food orders and pick-ups for business meetings
• Maintains inventory and stocking of office and cleaning supplies
• Assists with the planning and execution of special company events
• Stocks kitchen with snacks and drinks upon delivery from Instacart
• Upkeeps with kitchen duties such as wiping down counters and unloading the dishwasher
• Assists with HR projects such as creating surveys, polls, etc.
• Keeps record of meeting notes and uploads to company software
• Schedules messages on Slack to welcome new hires, celebrate birthdays and anniversaries
• Ensures census reports are sent out in a timely manner
• Distributes reminders for employee reviews to appropriate managers
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records, and other information
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2 years minimum experience in an administration role preferred
• Valid Driver’s license
• Self-motivated, team player with excellent people skills
• Strong planning, organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to problem solve under pressure
• Proficient in the latest versions of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• High level or discretion with confidential information
• Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds at times
