TITLE: VP, Senior Business Analyst Operations
REPORTS TO: EVP, Operations

DEPARTMENT: QCRH – Operations
LOCATION: Quad Cities, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, or Springfield, MO

JOB SUMMARY:

The VP, Senior Business Analyst Operations at QCRH will apply their strategic and analytical skills to address major company challenges. This position will partner with world-class professionals to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the bottom line. This will be done in a collaborative environment that values insight, encourages this individual to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supports Bank Operations leadership on developing strategy and defining imperatives to transform the back office in support of becoming a digital-first bank.

• Leverages analytical frameworks to identify and deliver efficiencies across cost, quality, productivity and operational risk.

• Conducts competitive benchmarking studies against other financial institutions to identify areas of opportunity and shape future strategies.

• Builds metrics and measurement frameworks to capture customer experience, regulatory adherence, financial performance, and operational health of the business.

• Drives strategy around back-office business continuity and customer experiences.

• Forecasts volumes and ensuring teams are staffed for success across the many unique and complex functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 10+ years’ relevant experience in Operations and or banking.

• 5+ years in a project management or analyst role.

• Sound judgment and keen sense of urgency and initiative.

• Analysis: Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations.

• Product: Perform modeling/analytics to assist operations with capacity management and increased productivity.

• Execution: Involve problem frame works, develop hypotheses, test and analysis, solution development, scope operational feasibility, lead implementation efforts and develop a monitoring plan.

• Strong communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

• Effectively prioritize and execute tasks while managing multiple assignments.

• Rapidly adapts to changing information, conditions and/or unexpected obstacles.

• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with others, including peers, management, and subordinates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
