Position: Forklift Operator
Location: Richmond, VA, 23234
Schedule: 1st Shift (6am – 2:30pm) and 2nd Shift (3pm – 11:30pm) Monday – Friday and some Saturdays
Compensation: 1st Shift – $16/hour and 2nd Shift – $17/hour
Position Summary:
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for unloading trucks with warehouse goods and placing them within the warehouse for storage purposes. This role will also consist of pulling pallets accurately based on the orders that are received and loading them onto trucks for transport.
Responsibilities:
- Standing Forklift operation
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Organization and storage of warehouse goods
- Pre-operation checks of warehouse equipment and forklifts
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Pass preemployment drug screen and background check
- 1 year of forklift operation experience
- Stand-Up forklift experience (preferred)
