Basic* Function: *
This position works with Application Development staff in order to design and develop applications software consisting of both web-based and client/server platforms while adhering to strict security guidelines. Responsible for updates and requested modifications to this software. Assists the Lead Web Application Developer in the maintenance of the website Content Management System.
Role and Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops application software based on an understanding of the functional requirements.
• Conducts unit testing of developed software.
• Prepares application software documentation and/or updates documentation and procedures manual as required.
• Assists other Application Development staff in the development and maintenance of systems.
• Participates in self-study programs and receives continuing on-the-job training in programming.
• Reviews and modifies existing computer programs of varied complexity.
• Performs maintenance of the website Content Management System.

Skills/Professional Competencies Required

• Knowledge of C#, VB.Net, Javascript, CSS3, and HTMLS
• Knowledge of relational database management systems
• Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming
• Knowledge of SQL constructs
• Ability to understand technical manuals
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Minimum Education/Training Required*

Bachelor’s degree with concentration in computer science or other relevant area from an accredited four-year college or university or completion of a program in computer programming from an accredited business or vocational school.

Minimum Experience Required*

At least one year of programming experience in developing complex multi-platform applications. Technical skills related to position include, but not limited to: C#, VB.Net, VBA, JavaScript, HTML, HTMLS, CSS3, security principles, object-oriented design, and SQL.
