Job Title : HR Technician (Talent Management)

Job Description:
Individuals in this position will perform a variety of HR services in the Talent Management unit within the Division of Human Resources, to include but not limited to employee record preparation, maintenance and the processing of personnel transactions; the processing of applicants through an applicant tracking system and assisting assigned state department with the recruitment function. Responsible for the coordination of the employment life cycle, to include onboarding and offboarding.
The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role. function. Individual must be detail orientated and demonstrate a high level of accuracy, possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to adapt to change and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience utilizing a Mainframe system is a plus, and experience with an applicant tracking software is preferred. Must also possess knowledge of Federal and labor laws; business and fiscal management acumen; proven HR skills and competencies and the ability to interpret collective bargaining requirements.
