We are looking for a Junior Web Developer to assist us in creating and updating websites and applications while using scripting languages. Our developer will play an integral role in the IT team with coding, testing, design adjustments, and clients reviews.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist the web development team with all aspects of website and application design
Assist with the testing and maintenance of backend and front-end applications
Brainstorm new tech applications such as digital storage and mobile technology
Collaborate with developers to implement new web features.
Keep up to date with the latest technology and programming trends
Convert video, audio, written, and graphic components into compatible formats for the web
Use user feedback to identify and corrects problems with a client’s website
Qualifications and Competencies include:
Experience working with coding languages such as HTML, Python JQuery, JSON, and Ajax
Solid understanding of web design and development principles.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related software
In-depth knowledge of software prototyping and UX design tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate technical concepts in an understandable and concise way
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to work on multiple projects and stay within the scope, schedule, cost, and quality specifications
Education and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
At least 2 years of working experience as a Junior Web Developer preferred
Hours of work:
This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
