ROLE
Responsible for the management of HR projects within the employee lifecycle.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans improvement projects, including timelines, budgets, resources, and milestones with HR Leadership.
Manages HR-related projects to successful completion within designated parameters with key stakeholders.
Ensures best practices are reinforced and sustainable in partnership with function leaders (e.g., DE&I, Internal Communications, Regional HR Managers).
Identifies opportunities for process improvement.
Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, and presentations.
Effectively sets and communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
Responsible for leading HR project teams and adhering to task and deliverable deadlines.
Collaborates with HR team members to evaluate opportunities for increasing efficiency and productivity.
Performs resource, technical and risk assessments.
Assist with implementing HR best practices across the organization.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Five years of related experience in project management and Human Resources.
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Valid Driver’s License.
IDEAL CANDIDATE – The qualifications listed are typical of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of successful employees within this classification.
Knowledge of:
Creation and delivery of projects using data flow charts, process flow diagrams, software requirements documentation, functional specifications, project management tools.
Business Process Improvement/Management design principles and practical application.
Technical and professional principles, practices, laws, applications and programs in position related area including in-depth knowledge of human resource theory and practice.
Current developments and trends in areas of expertise.
Computer programs, including Microsoft Office suite of applications and using data to inform and set priorities and identify challenges/opportunities. Knowledge of JD Edwards, or other HRIS system.
Skill and / or Ability to:
Promote the WASTE ZERO philosophy by making the best and highest use of all resources.
Lead a diverse project team at all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage multiple projects of varied scopes and complexities.
Proficiency in use of project management tools such as MS Project.
Define issues and focus on achieving workable solutions; generate innovative ideas to develop or improve existing systems.
Demonstrate strong proficiency and knowledge in area(s) of expertise as well as company business.
Communicate well both verbally and in writing; listen to and understand various viewpoints; share relevant information timely; provide constructive feedback; maintain professionalism.
Present ideas effectively to individuals or groups and deliver presentations suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience.
Effectively and productively engage with others and establish trust, credibility, and confidence.
Promote collaboration and assist others with their initiatives and efforts.
Consistently build and share knowledge and expertise about current job through reading, new experiences, and exposure to new ideas.
Listen to and build customer relationships; increase customer satisfaction and ensure commitments are met.
Develop strategies to effectively manage current and future challenges and opportunities; develop recommendations and actionable plans.
