The Temporary Director HRBP role will support a portion of the Global Development (GD) organization for up to 4 months. You will support the implementation of the 2022 HR priorities for specific client groups and partner with leaders to surface and address additional business and people related issues that arise. You will be an advisor on: talent acquisition and talent development, change management, organization design and effectiveness, employee engagement, and performance management.
As the HRBP Director, a typical day might include the following:
Implements 2022 Employee Experience Survey Action Planning, Succession Planning, Functional Strategic Planning, Selection and Onboarding of New Executives and mid year performance and promotion calibrations.
Provides coaching to executives, managers and employees, with an emphasis on the helping the person understand what their options are and how leading via the Regeneron Way (our cultural values) can help drive successful people outcomes.
Talent Management: Identifies talent and capabilities needed given business growth and strategy, supports leaders in developing their key talent and identifies talent to hire to support growth.
Employee Experience, Culture and DEI: Will support managers and leaders on action planning from 2022 survey data results.
Organizational Development: Identifies individual, team and departmental needs, and partners with OD Consulting team to craft solutions that will address business needs.
Total Rewards: Partners with this team to define new roles, identify external comparable/market value of positions, supports creation and revision of MD and clinical scientist career ladders.
HRBP team: Is an active contributor to the HRBP community and shares best practices with the GD HRBP team.
This role might be for you if you:
Have experience working with and influencing senior management & technical leaders.
Must know and understand the business of drug development.
Have expertise in talent acquisition, talent development, compensation, career ladders, performance coaching within a technically driven organization.
Demonstrable track record of taking initiative, ability to get things done, and prioritize the essential over the non-essential.
Demonstrate a strong preference and ability for quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and be comfortable with a variety of technology, systems and data.
Have experience using Microsoft Suite products, WorkDay, and other people related systems
Are learning agile, able to deal with ambiguity and frequent pivots of HR/ business priorities, and able to quickly translate people and data issues into clear and coherent solutions.
Can actively negotiate and influence others, demonstrating courage and the ability to effectively push back on. Can easily identify the “third way” that can meet all party’s needs.
Have a significant understanding of HR legal & compliance requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in a scientific or HR related field; advanced degree such as MBA, or Master’s in Organization Development or Human Resources is strongly preferred. Minimum 15 years’ experience in our industry: pharma/biopharma/biotech in an HR or management role. Experience supporting Clinical Operations functions / CRO is a must have.
