Job Duration: 3*+ Months (Possible Extension)*

Work Schedule: Both Shifts Available (12 Hours Day & 12 Hours Night)

BLS, Acute experience Required

Responsibilities for Nursing Assistant:

· Help patients with personal hygiene and care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, and bowel and bladder care

· Take and record patient vital signs and weight

· Observe and record patients conditions, food and liquid intake and other behavior, and report changes to supervisor

· Help patients walk with canes, walkers, or other devices

· Make beds, and maintain clean and safe environments for patients

· Lift, transport, and move patients using the appropriate techniques

· Treat all patients, family, and other visitors with respect, and engage with them in a tactful manner at all times

· Comply with all safety and health regulations

Qualifications for Nursing Assistant:

· High school diploma or GED preferred

· Must hold current CNA certification in the state of practice

· Prior work experience in a direct patient care setting or in a long term care facility preferred

· Must be in good physical health to be able to lift and move patients, and to be able to walk or stand for long periods of time

· Must be compassionate and personable

· Strong attention to detail

· Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a professional manner while remaining calm

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift

Experience:

• Acute care: 1 year (Preferred)
