The HR Generalist
The HR Manager will be based in our NJ/NYC office and will be responsible for supporting all HR functions and day to day activities. Retarus is looking for a candidate with a strong customer-service mentality and exceptional organizational skills to help support our employees and business.

What you’ll do
Serve as a point of contact for managers and employees on all relevant HR topics
Coordinate new hire onboarding in collaboration with Retarus headquarters
Support administration of benefit plans such as Medical and 401K
Support administration of payroll through ADP
Work closely with hiring managers to support the recruitment process
Administer job change paperwork and corresponding HRIS inputs – including new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
Ensure the confidentiality, accuracy and proper retention of all HR and employee data and documentation
Assist in and own special projects as needed
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s Degree, SHRM-CP/PHR preferred
2-3 years of experience in human resources preferred
General knowledge of US employment law
Ability to communicate effectively and work independently
Maintain a curious mindset, always willing to learn new information
A passion and understanding of general HR responsibilities with the desire for future growth and development within the function
