Ridgeline International Hiring for Linux Administrator – NOC at Tysons, VA Full Time

Ridgeline was founded in 2015 by a group of men and women who have cumulatively spent more than half a century contributing to the U.S. national security mission. Our goal at the time was to fill critical technical gaps impacting our customers in the U.S. government.

Eight years on, Ridgeline is now laser-focused on solving one of the toughest problems we know our customers face, Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance, through an approach we call Digital Signature Management. This is an ON-SITE position within our Network Operations Center. This position has varied shift schedules that may include day or evening hours. You will work 4 days on, and 3 days off rotation.

What you’ll do

• Monitor, alert, and report on system and infrastructure health
• Perform basic troubleshooting steps to investigate and mitigate system issues
• Escalate events based on established policies
• Perform vulnerability management by patching servers and infrastructure
• Monitor, maintain and update system and server configuration per defined organizational standards
• Diagnose and repair faulty system and server hardware

• 
  Minimum Secret Clearance (We hold all clearance levels)
• Experience using Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Familiarity with network and infrastructure monitoring systems
• Experience working with virtualization infrastructure
• Knowledge of networking – including switching, routing, firewalls, and VPNs
• Experience working in a secure environment
• Familiarity with Android OS
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
