About the Job
This role is responsible for being the face of the Human Resources department. They will ensure the day to day activities of the Human Resources team function smoothly and own the candidate and employee experience across the organization. This position reports directly to the HR Manager and will work from our Maitland location.
What You’ll Do
HR administrative functions, including but not limited to:
Maintain digital and physical files
Monitor HR email account and escalate communications as necessary
Provide a warm, Rifle-brand experience for all candidates:
Post job openings
Schedule/coordinate interviews
Arrange travel accommodations
Welcome candidates on site
Facilitate new hire onboarding:
Create new hire schedule
Assemble and distribute Rifle merchandise new hire swag bag
Coordinate all new hire assets (IT equipment, avatar, business cards, etc)
Generate and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed
Collect and verify I-9 documents for employment eligibility/authorization
Coordinate benefits orientation sessions
Guide hourly employees on timeclock
Assign mandatory trainings through HRIS system
Plan, organize and facilitate engagement activities and employee events
Track and acknowledge employee milestones (birthdays, anniversaries, etc)
Assist with travel accommodations for current employees
Process employment verifications
Manage enrollment notifications
Additional responsibilities as necessary
Office administration, including but not limited to:
Receive guests and act as the face of the HR department
Interface with office vendors (cleaning company, tradesmen, maintenance team, delivery services etc)
Maintain upkeep of physical space and supply cabinet, replenish supplies as needed
Procurement requests as necessary
Occasional local travel will be required
What You Have
3+ years of experience performing HR related functions required
Experience with both in-person and virtual work environments required
Excellent verbal and written skills required
Experience owning the candidate experience preferred
Experience in a fulfillment, manufacturing and/or warehouse environment a plus
Bilingual a plus
