What You’ll Do:
Ripley PR is looking for a part time HR assistant. This person will perform a variety of human resources and recruiting support activities and work directly for the CEO. Due to the nature of this position, a high level of confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:
· Perform administrative tasks, maintain files, responding to emails and phone inquiries
· Coordinate PTO, benefits administration and coordinate with payroll
· Assist with the hiring process, including developing job descriptions, creating and submitting job postings, and scheduling interviews
· Assist with onboarding new hires and orientation
· Assist with setting up new employees in HR software and processing new hire paperwork
· Assist the CEO and managing director with employee reviews
· Coordinate updates to the employee handbook and other policies
· Professional in appearance and attitude
· Maintain personnel files, records and documents
Qualifications:
· 1-3 years human resources experience preferred
· Knowledge of Tennessee employment law
· Commitment to protect confidential employee and business information
· Ability and willingness to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, with unexpected requests and changing priorities
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Must have strong communications skills, both written and verbal
· First-class interpersonal skills
· Works well collaborating as a team and working independently
· Highly organized
· Proficient in PC, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, WordPress and content management systems
Work Location:
· Part-time, On Location in Maryville, Tennessee. (This is not a remote position.)
