Rivers Edge Behavioral Health Services, LLC is a residential treatment center for substance use dependence. With a sixteen-bed capacity, it is designed to treat adults that are eighteen years of age or older with a substance use disorder with/without co-occurring disorders.
We are seeking a HR Consultant (Contractor) to lead a variety of human resource projects and provide advice and assistance. The ideal HR Consultant will possess in-depth knowledge of human resource management. They will be strategic thinkers and problem-solvers with excellent communication skills.
HR services requested:
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Periodic check of personnel files for compliance.
- Benefits Administration.
- Ensures all OSHA requirements are met and followed.
- Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Monitors all workers’ compensation case files; follows up as necessary
- Assist with the filing of annual reports
- Reviews and assists with compliance of polices and procedures as it related to both state and federal regulations as well as accreditations.
- Works with insurance carriers for annual renewal of all insurance policies
- Assists with grievances, disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Qualifications:
- BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field
- 3+ years of HR experience
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods and best practices
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- A team player
