Job: IRC26572**Description**Job Title Office AdministratorLaboratory / Department InvestmentsDepartment DescriptionThe Office of Investments oversees an endowment of $2.5 billion, broadly diversified across various asset classes. The primary role of the endowment is to advance the research mission of the University through the support of the annual operating budget.Endowment assets are invested in public securities, including U.S. and non-U.S. equity and fixed income securities, and private investments, including private equity, venture capital, and real assets. External investment managers invest the assets through commingled vehicles or separate accounts, including funds, trusts, and limited partnerships. In addition to overseeing the endowment, the Office of Investments plays an active role in planning and executing the University’s external capital program, including debt financings and interest rate swaps, and maintaining the University’s rating agency relationships.Detailed DescriptionThe Office Administrator will support a six-person management team that oversees an endowment of $2.5 billion. Will provide daily administrative support to the Chief Investment Officer, two Senior Directors, and three Investment Analysts. Responsibilities include phone coverage, extensive calendar management, filing and handling various mail/courier/email correspondence, arranging, and coordinating complex travel and transportation arrangements, maintaining a detailed electronic filing database for all investor correspondence, and maintaining and exploring vendor relationships and invoices. Will prepare and set up various wire transfers on multiple banking websites, assist with meeting preparation including quarterly Investment Committee meetings and meetings with external managers, and assist with other accounting functions (e.g., petty cash and expense reimbursements). Will also assist in database management of managers meeting schedules and annual meetings calendars and be assigned additional responsibilities and special analytical-related projects. #INDADM21Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree required. Prior experience supporting or working within a financial operating or investment management team preferred. Must have strong Outlook skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills required. Must have a professional phone demeanor, possess good judgment and be highly motivated, and be eager to please (no task too small). Must possess a team-focused attitude with a demonstrated ability and desire to work collaboratively with others. Must have the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality and the flexibility to work beyond normal business hours on occasion when required.
