Rocky Mountain Assisted Living is looking for a Operations Manager with extensive background in Human Resources to join our team!

Qualification:

• Management Experience, or educational equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, word
• Prior Human Resources Experience in Senior Living or similar field
• Bachelors degree (required)
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities:

– Local Assisted Living/ Memory Care provider located in DTC seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager for our Metro Denver operations. This position will be a hands-on, full operational position handling all aspects of the company HR. We currently have 10 locations throughout metro Denver and continue to expend.

– This person must have solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills. Candidates should possess knowledge of all aspects of Colorado labor laws. The role requires at least five years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Previous experience in human resources is highly valued.

Human Resources Duties

• Oversees all Human Resources needs for company ensuring local and federal laws are adhered to.
• Maintains professionalism while communicating with potential applicants, current and past employees, Residents, Resident families and outside vendors. Communicates via written word, telephone, social media and Microsoft Outlook.
• Oversees the new-hire processes, ensuring employees are receiving adequate and professional on-boarding and training. Assists with the on-boarding processes whenever needed.
• Creates and implements employee related forms under the direction and supervision of ED and CEO.
• Participates in twice weekly upper management meetings.
• Conducts audits per Quality Management Program.
• Approves and witnesses employee disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Documents employee notes in On Shift, or Rocky Mountain Assisted living’s chosen scheduling software.
• Observes confidentiality and safeguards all Resident and employee related information.
• Contacts new hires within 30 days of hire, informing them of their benefits eligibility. Assists employees based on their decision while filling out required documentation. Communicates benefits enrollment with payroll prior to each pay period. Ensure all documentation is filled out for ACA reporting requirements.
• Contacts new hires within 30 days of hire, ensuring they do not have unvoiced grievances and ensuring they have been on-boarded and trained correctly.
• Assists employees who qualify in completing required Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) paperwork. Maintains FMLA paperwork in employee files for future reference and Department of Labor review, when necessary.
• Completes a COBRA offer letter for all former employees previously ensured through Rocky Mountain Assisted Living’s health benefits plan. After completion, sends required documentation via United States Mail within 10 days of employment termination.
• Is in the Mod rotation per company policy
• Oversees and manages new hire recruiting process to keep all shifts filled
• Maintains up-to-date paid time off (PTO) accrual for hourly and salaried employees. Ensures each team has enough oversight and that multiple team members are not scheduled off at the same time. Ensure multiple members of the same team are not off at the same time.
• Runs biweekly payroll. Ensures time sheets and Paycom are accurate and complete, all new hire paperwork has been prepared and shifts have been appropriately confirmed.
• Conducts team building exercises with Rocky Mountain Assisted Living team members. Creates and promotes a positive working environment for Rocky Mountain Assisted Living staff and employees. 22.
• Promotes and embodies Rocky Mountain Assisted Living’s value and mission statement.
• Schedules and prepares educational material for staff meetings at each home. Utilizes outside agencies whenever possible. Attends staff meetings whenever possible. .
• Works with insurance representative(s) in getting employees back to work as soon as possible. Ensures injured employees are following company policy in seeking medical assistance.
• Implements safety trainings ensuring Rocky Mountain Assisted Living is maintaining good standing with its cost containment program.
• Maintains a complete record of employee pay stubs. Provides copy of employee paystubs within 24 hours of request.
• .Completes requests from Colorado Unemployment Insurance and submits completed response paperwork on or before due date. Completes employment verification, per requests in a timely manner.
• Receives employee complaints, including but not limited to claims of sexual harassment. Maintains confidentiality and handles complaints in a professional and supportive nature.
• Investigates and documents employee-related complaints and report findings to the Executive Director and CEO.
• Schedules and conducts employee reviews. Works with the employee’s direct supervisor while determining the outcome of the review.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
