The Role:Roku is looking for a talented Video Editor with at least 2 years of video editing experience to support our dynamic This Old House team. If you ve edited TV promo spots, sizzle reels, and movie trailers, we want to talk to you! Your passion for engaging viewers through visual storytelling, and a deep understanding of marketing content to viewers will make you a valuable member of this highly collaborative, cross-functional team. This is a hands-on role, that requires a strategic thinker with advanced video production and editing skills who can jump in and make an immediate impact. They are capable of producing and editing videos in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract role with a 3 to 6 month commitment. Responsibilities: Assembling raw footage and working with pre-existing episodes and projects.Following an outlineLight sound editing and in-app color correct.Working with delivered graphics and integrating AE files.Working with integrated MAM system (CatDV)Transcoding and exporting edits to an S3 bucket. Qualifications: 2 or more years Adobe premiere with deep fluency.Prior experience with a DAM system (CatDV) is a plus.AE knowledge is a plus.Knowledge of high-performance shared storage systems is a plusExcellent verbal communication skills, can clearly articulate and document technical processes and issuesExcellent time-management abilityStrong attention to detail #LI-BH1Learn moreRoku has a global scope and footprint befitting our mission.
