HR Generalist

Royal Chemical provides essential liquid and powder chemical blending, packaging, and warehouse & fulfillment needs for some of the country’s most vital industries.

Our organization is growing rapidly, and we are looking for an HR Generalist to support our Chattanooga, TN and Dallas, TX locations (located in Chattanooga).

What we expect from you?

• Interview and lead the local staffing process, as well as aid in the corporate staffing initiative, including developing the Employer Value Proposition used to sell the company, hosting hiring events, developing onboarding presentations, etc.
• Carry out various HR responsibilities for the organization, payroll process improvement and working with the broker on streamlining benefits processes at 3 locations (TN, TX and PA).
• Become an expert in the HRIS system and train others to utilize it to the benefit of the organization.
• Work on a variety of HR projects to improve employee engagement, staffing levels, and retention.
• Partner with the Operations Leadership and participate in Continuous Improvement activities within the plant environment (this can include anything from plant process improvement to training and development activities).
• Promote and foster a safe work environment and participate in the development of ideas to improve the safety culture.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on internal communications including, company newsletters, calendars, and other communications.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial Relations, law, or related field
• HR Generalist experience in an industrial environment.
• Must have a high level of integrity.
• Ability to partner with leadership to develop creative solutions to business issues.
• Team player.
• Creative and resourceful.
• Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office, and HRIS.
