A Day in The Life
A typical day at R&R BBQ will always be exciting and never dull! You’ll wear many different hats, but your primary responsibility is to give our customers and employees an incredible experience.
The District Manager will report directly to the Brand President and handle day-to-day operations while building and executing a strategic plan to improve the guest experience and instill a culture of positivity and growth within their teams. They are expected to develop and mentor a bench of future leaders, support growth initiatives within the brand. They lead their restaurants to strong financial performance in revenue growth and cost controls. The District Manager Provides strategic vision, oversees the restaurant leadership team, and provides guidance to General Managers to achieve short and long-term company objectives.
Our District Managers are empowered to own the direction and performance of their locations. We have rapid growth occurring in the Utah market and in Idaho and Colorado, with more states to follow. We have opened two restaurants in the past 9 months and expect another 4-6 in the next year.

Who We Are
Our founders, Rod and Roger (R&R), were Southern California natives and former surfing champions. Influenced at an early age by their father, a butcher, and their uncle, a hog farmer, the family tradition for excellent, slow-cooked barbecue became their passion. They moved to Utah and began entering and winning many local and regional barbecue contests. Named “Utah’s top competition team,” Rod and Roger ranked in the top 100 teams in the U.S., which qualified them for prestigious national barbecue events. They finished as a top team at the Jack Daniel’s World Championships in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Also, They won the title of Reserve Champion at the Sam’s Club U.S. Championships in Bentonville, Arkansas. A booming catering business followed, which ultimately led to the 2013 opening of the first R&R Barbeque in downtown Salt Lake City. Years later, their success continues to inspire us to perform. We view every day as a competition, and our customers are the judges.
