Our client is looking for a Materials & Logistics Manager.
The company has about 70 employees right now, and is on a great growth trajectory. Revenue increased from about $5 million to $25 million over the past 8 years, and is continuing to increase. Materials and Logistics alone are expected to be $30-35 million in short order. We need someone to manage that with excellence. You must be excited about getting strategic, innovative and aggressive in maximizing our operation and minimizing costs.
The over arching objective of this role: find ways to shift the needle a few percentage points at every decision point, in order to save the company millions of dollars over the coming years.

The ideal candidate for this position will need to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
Education:
Candidates for this position should have completed or be on track to complete a four-year degree program from an accredited school in the field of business, or have the equivalent on the job experience.
Ability to Travel:
Please note that any serious candidate must be prepared to travel 5-10% of the time to visit customers, suppliers, and vendors. Candidates must be willing to make themselves available on the occasional night or weekends when required to meet program objectives and timing, especially as this position is handling contacts across a range of global timezones.
Safety Requirements:
Please note that you must be willing and capable of wearing Safety Glasses (Non-Tinted) when on the shop floor, which will be a frequent requirement for this role.
Expecting Salary to be somewhere between $75k and $115k or so.
This is a direct hire (W2, full-time) salaried position, with full benefits (401k with match, Health/Dental/Vision, Life & Disability, Vacation & Sick time).
We expect this hire to work primarily in person – this is not really a remote or even hybrid friendly role. Candidates should assume they will be mostly in office, Monday through Friday, with a schedule something like 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The actual schedule could be a bit flexible if someone prefers to start earlier and be more in-sync with the production floor schedule.
