Position Overview:
The HR Onboarding Specialist is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression of RTC Aerospace. This candidate will be an organizational guru, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moment s notice, and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with the executive team to identify staffing needs for near and long-term recruitment needs. In collaboration with the company, leadership develops foundational strategic and comprehensive recruitment plans in accordance with the needs and goals of RTC.
Analyze market data and internal compensation when making an offer for a position. Generates offer letters and contracts for selected candidates. Stays abreast of trends and developments in the field of Recruitment and sourcing by reading current materials, attending training, and participating in meetings, and conferences of professional organizations to stay current on emerging trends.
Guides candidates through and trains hiring managers in the full recruiting cycle. Performs initial interviews to determine candidate suitability for placement for targeted requisitions.
Review and manage new hire offer documents
Perform candidate employment and education verification process
Train new team members on the correct techniques required to perform their assigned job task, including review of our OJT (On-the-Job training documents) as well as the Job Safety Analysis for each assigned job task.
Ensure new Team Member understands the correct usage of work tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Work with departmental management staff to ensure new team members can perform their job tasks correctly and safely as well as provide support for other production line team members needing refresher training.
Monitor new team members progress regarding their job performance. Keep the departmental supervisor and managers informed of any performance or training issues that affect the new team members’ overall job performance.
Document New team members’ job performance progress and provide input on job performance status.
Create an Onboarding program and help administer weekly Onboarding Check-In questions for new team members.
Assist in the creation and development of various learning programs, training experiences, to help support personnel development of capabilities and knowledge needed to grow the company
Create and work with management to maintain a skill competency matrix
Map out annual training plans
Work with department management on identifying training needs. Develop and certify programs that achieve the defined learning and business objectives of the department
Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identifies skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs
Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
Track and manage certifications ensuring employees are trained and ready for renewal at the time of expiration
Coordinate safety training
Assist Director of Human Resources in career mapping and providing professional development training for all employees
Performs other duties as assigned.
Assists in the management of the EEO Reporting and Affirmative Action Plan.
Coordinates a variety of other HR-related programs, projects, and services and serves on various committees as assigned; attends and participates in professional group meetings; maintains awareness of federal, state, and local regulations and the impact of changes on the Agency; may work on or have lead on special projects or participate as a member of other teams.

Education, Skills, and Experience:
3-5 years of proven successful recruiting experience either in a corporate or agency setting.
Hands-on experience coordinating training programs in a corporate or manufacturing setting
Knowledge and Personal Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to represent the company in a professional manner
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organizational skills with a structured plan for successfully recruiting and training
Must be able to establish and maintain an aggressive candidate pipeline by developing his/her own networks
Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate)
Capable of relating to individuals at all levels
Thrives while working in a target-based environment
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to conduct different types of interviews and hands-on experience with various selection processes
Ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time
