RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs administrative HR duties such as employee maintenance in the HRIS system, responds appropriately to employment verification requests, and maintains personnel files and employment-related records.
Assists the Human Resources Business Partners in monitoring the S3 HR email box and responding to and/or assigning communications to appropriate team members. Assists with drafting offer letters, processing employment status changes, responding to employment verifications, updating employee data in the HRIS system and processing terminations to include coordinating equipment return.
Coordinates on-boarding process for all new employees to include sending new hire onboarding instructions, employee badges, updating profiles in HRIS system, processing new hire forms, I-9 documentation and E verify, employee correspondence, handling IT setup and addressing new hire questions.
Responds in a timely manner to employee inquiries and escalates more serious matters such as employee complaints to HR Business Partner or HR Director.
Coordinates meetings and assists the team with administrative tasks.
Prepares and distributes monthly employee information reports.
Maintains confidentiality and exercises a high level of discretion on all matters.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED and two years’ experience in an administrative support role, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have the ability to recognize problems or issues when they arise, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe)
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary
Excellent customer service skills with a high attention to detail
Prioritize workload based on department requirements and customer needs
Strong analytical skills required with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Aptitude to work independently as well as part of a team
Positive attitude and team-oriented
Ability to function in changing environment
