Role Summary:
The People Coordinator will work closely with business partners on a daily basis in order to assist with the day-to-day operations of Saks. The People Coordinator will create effective working relationships with internal employees and business partners. This role provides administrative support to the People function as needed, including record-keeping, HRIS entry and maintenance and new hire system setup.
Key Qualifications:
4 year Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Retail, or Business Management
6 – 12 months of Human Resources experience preferred
Excellent knowledge of Google Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive)
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
You are highly organized and detail-oriented and can prioritize and multi-task.
You have excellent interpersonal skills with the capability and desire to work within a collaborative team, and possess an interest to grow into other People related roles.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and, if hired, present proof of vaccination prior to beginning employment
Role Description:
Support the Saks People Group by administering all designated employee lifecycle events including employee initiated inquiries
Must be able to learn and understand HRIS platforms as well as a Case Management System
Respond to general email and phone inquiries
Provide compliance reporting and follow up
Create and maintain organizational charts and distribution lists
Provide basic employee relations support and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and administered in a fair and non-discriminatory manner.
Support company People initiatives and programs.
Take on additional projects as needed.
