Position Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst provides accounting, financial analysis, and compliance support for government (federal, state, county) and sponsored program grants/contracts/gifts. Responsibilities include providing a high level of customer service, review of expenditures for appropriateness, journal entries, production of monthly and quarterly analyses, reconciliation of revenues and expenses to budgets and forecasts, partnership and accountability with program and non-program executives, understanding of accounting principles to facilitate meetings with programs and departments, problem solving, and provision of proactive financial support and guidance to program managers.
This position also requires the ability to produce ad hoc reporting by utilizing large data sets, performs analysis for ROI, lease management, and support of capital planning where appropriate.
