HR Administrative Assistamt

Position Summary* Work as a flexible team member in the HR department, and assist in the areas of payroll, benefits, database management and general HR.
*Responsibilities
* Assist with processing bi-weekly payroll and related tasks. * Assist with HR and payroll audits and requests for information. * Maintain payroll and benefit databases, including employment, employee demographics, leaves and workers comp claims updates. * Assist with payroll related audits, wage and employment verifications, and garnishments. * Create and maintain benefit deductions * Assist with tracking and collecting outstanding benefit payments * Assist with new hire processing, background checks, and onboardings. * Track, collect and enter required employee documents, including I-9’s, licenses, certifications, evaluations and health requirements. * Perform misc. administrative tasks, including database entries, reports, compiling and distributing materials, filing, etc. * Other duties and projects as assigned.
* 1-year administrative experience * Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office * Experience in accounting, billing or payroll is helpful, but not a must. * Positive attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills * Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks with timeliness and attention to detail * Maintain strict confidentiality and appropriately work with sensitively information and documents *Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
