HR/Safety Generalist
Sapona Yarns, LLC is looking for a HR/Safety Specialist. We are searching for an energetic and detail oriented professional to manage the safety program and generalist HR/Customer Service responsibilities. We work as a team at Sapona. The Safety and HR Professional must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. He or she will work directly with plant management.
Ideal Experience/Job Summary:
- Assisting in recruiting and onboarding efforts.
- Generate official documents.
- Maintain files for safety and HR related documents
- Collaborates with outside vendors, upper management, and employees.
- Evaluate employee performance/appraisals.
- Understand and assist managers in policy issues. Includes ability to write, review and revise current policies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage organized and accurate files,
- Work effectively on a team.
- Developing and supporting a positive culture.
- High comfort with computers including Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated experience gathering and analyzing data to drive decision making.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- OSHA and safety related experience is desired.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Desire and competency to move a larger role.
