Position Summary

Salary range for this position is: $74,067/yr. to $87,719/yr. (depending on experience). Refer to the SCD/AFT Agreement Article 4.4, and Appendix A for detailed information on salary placement and advancement. Under the supervision of the Executive Dean of Healthcare & Human Services, the Healthcare Service Management Fulltime Faculty will be responsible for instruction, program coordination and class scheduling.

This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement with representation by AFT.

- Leading instruction on Healthcare Management/Administration
- Leading instruction on Business Leadership, Accounting, EDI
- Teaching Remotely – Engaging Teaching Methods on Zoom
- Teaching Research Methods
- Teaching using multiple platforms
- Teaching adult learners
- Faculty Program Coordinator: curriculum and program development, participation with Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)
What you bring as a candidate: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience)
- Master’s Degree or in the process of obtaining a Master’s Degree with equivalent experience
- Experience teaching adults in multiple formats
- Healthcare Management Experience
- Experience building/maintaining teams/partnerships
- Experience developing curricula
- Experience with research methods
- Capacity to teach in person (F2F)
Physical Requirements:
The Position
- Typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to Perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
- Encounters frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
- Is regularly required to provide 1:1 support, present to small groups, and work at a computer exercising repetitive hand motion with or without reasonable accommodation.
