$65,000 – $110,000 per year all in with base salary plus commissions

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in sales, energy, marketing, event planning, or related field.
• Business-appropriate communication, writing, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Get ready to work flexibly in a fast-paced, creative environment!
• Must be customer-oriented and ready to delight the businesses we serve.
• Your success relies on taking care of the details and being consistent about reaching out to customers.
• Proficient in computer technology including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Math matters. Must understand the variables that drive positive customer outcomes and contribute to company profitability.
• Frequent day-trip travel within our local area.

Responsibilities

• This is a position for someone who gets their phone calls answered and their e-mails returned. Responsible for making efforts to attract energy-consuming businesses to Shipley Energy.
• Regularly make independent outgoing and incoming contact with customers.
• Propose meetings, sales solutions, and service solutions for customers.
• Present pricing, product structure, and financial analysis documents and secure proper customer execution of sales documents.
• Plan networking events.
• Maintain customer relationships.
• Visit, call, and email prospects and current customers.
• Present complex information to prospects and current customers in an individual or group setting.
• Make other efforts to attract business, including trade shows, webinars, public speaking, attending community events, and other methods as identified by you and leadership.
