An Accounting Specialist has an intermediate understanding of standard accounting practices, reconciliation processes, payroll processing and the associated data entry into QuickBooks and ConnectWise Manage. Accounting Specialists perform general bookkeeping data entry on a daily basis, including data entry quality control, transaction categorization and general ledger entries. A qualified candidate must understand the basic principles of auditing, researching, reconciling, and managing general ledger and transaction data. Must have superior time management and self-management skills – including meeting important processing deadlines. Accounting Specialists hold weekly and monthly review meetings with assigned clients and must have excellent communication, meeting recap and action-oriented skills. Must not be afraid to discuss and consult clients on issues that may cause challenges or issues.
